The first thing you need is a plan of action. Your issue has been mentioned in a proposed bill, and it’s going to a subcommittee. How do you begin?

Call together the relevant teams for an initial meeting. This may include your research,
communications, membership, grasstops, and grassroots teams.

Create a shared central hub for the bill. Sharepoint works great for this, and so does a folder in Google Drive.
